We have gone through the complaint petition document and evidence  recorded experte judgment passed  as follows. Petitioner is Inspector Legal metrology. He filed this complaint on behalf of  one Sri Anupam Das who complained to him for deficiency of service of Opposite party Infant movers & Packers. As per his complaint  Sri Anupam Das booked his house hold articles for transportation at Agartala from Bangalore. Accordingly O.P. transport company agreed to carry & he paid Rs.57,700/- for carrying articles to Agartala. O.P company was doing business at Agartala in regard to transportation. So  Sri Anupam Das agreed & pay the amount  But the house hold items was not carried to Agartala as promised till to day. All correspondence with O.P failed  So he prayed before this Forum for redress. After filing of the case notice sent to the address of O.P. who  1stly received. Thereafter notice sent by registered post But O.P. failed to appear. Thereafter case proceeded experte. We have seen the complaint also expert evidence recorded experte  cash payment receipt as transportation charge cash bill of agreement consignment note email & other relevant document. From appreciation of all evidence before us it is transpired that O.P. transport company received consideration money transportation charge on 18-01-2016 & promised to transmit the house hold goods at Agartala. They were doing business at Agartala. It is established that due to  their unfair trade practice & deficiency of service  Sri Anupam Das consumer suffered.  He is therefore entitled to get compensation. For loss of household articles Rs. 1,50,000/- is given , for transportation charge paid Rs. 50,000 is granted. For deficiency of service & harassment another  Rs.50,000 granted In total Rs. 2,50,000/- is allowed which is to be paid to  Sri Anupam Das by way of compensation.

Direct O.P.  pay amount to Sri Anupam Das consumer. Payment is to be made within two months if not paid it will carry interest @9% per annum. Supply copy of order to complainant free of cost.
