ORDER

By Beena Joseph, Member:

 

            The petition was filed on 30.11.2013. Complaining that petitioner’s son was sought admission for Draftsman(Civil) course conducted by the opposite parties.  And he paid full course fee but the opposite parties were not conducted the course.  Hence the petitioner claims course fee caution  deposit and compensation.

 

            The above matter notice was issued to both parties which was served on them.  But they remain absent and set exparte on 03.01.2014.  The complainant filed chief affidavit and examined as PW1.  Exts. A1 to A3 were marked on the side of the complainant.  Thus the complainant proved his case.  Hence the petition is allowed in part.

 

            In the result the Forum is hereby directed the opposite parties to pay back the course fee Rs.15,500/-(Rupees fifteen thousand five hundred only) and to pay compensation of Rs.2000/-(Rupees two thousand only) towards the deficiency of service and malpractice adopted by the opposite parties. Opposite parties are jointly and severally liable to pay the above amount.  Comply the order within one month from the date of receiving the copy of the order.

 

Pronounced in the open court this the 28th day of February 2014.
