The case is taken up before this Lok Adalat for disposal.

    The complainant, Sri Asit Kumar Pal, is present personally along with his Ld. lawyer.

     The OP Post Office is absent without any steps.

     The complainant has filed a petition for withdrawal of the case as the OP-Post Master has assured him that he will issue a duplicate cheque in his favour which is the subject matter of this case and on the basis of the undertaking the complainants submits that he does not want to proceed with the case any further and prays for withdrawal of the case.

     Heard the complainant as well as the ld. advocate for the complainant.

     Considering the submission, we find that there is necessary to proceed with the case further and as such the case be withdrawn being settled on compromise.

      Hence,

                                     Ordered

That the Consumer Complainant NO. 71/2014 is withdrawn being settled on compromise.

     Let a free copy of this order be supplied to the complainant.
