ORDER
SRI.P.V.JAYARAJAN : PRESIDENT
1. This complaint is filed under section 35 of Consumer Protection Act 2019 and stood over to this date for consideration and this Commission passed the following order.
2. This is a complaint filed by the complainant against the opposite parties alleging deficiency in service on the part of the opposite parties. After admitting the complaint notice was issued to the opposite parties. The opposite parties 1 & 2 entered appearance and filed written version denying the allegations raised by the complainant. When the case came up for consideration on 04/03/2023, both the parties submitted that there is a chance of settlement and hence the matter was referred for mediation to this day. After discussion both the parties submitted that the matter is settled and a compromise memo dated 25/03/2023 was also filed before this commission. As per the compromise the first opposite party has agreed to pay Rs.52,000/- (Rupees fifty two thousand only) to the complainant within 30 days from the date of order. The memo of compromise is accepted and recorded. In view of the compromise arrived at between the parties to the proceedings, we find that this complaint is to be allowed in terms of the compromise.
In the result, the complaint is allowed in terms of compromise. The memo of compromise dated 25/03/2023 will form part of this order.
A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements be forwarded to the parties free of charge and thereafter the file be consigned to the record room.
