This appeal was received through post. The appellant has not appeared before this Commission on any date.

On 15.10.2015, this Commission had directed the appellant to present before this Commission in person or through counsel and take steps for respondent within 2 weeks. 

The office of this Commission has sent a notice to the appellant on 17.10.2015 to appear before this Commission on 08.01.2016. Again on 08.01.2016, the appellant did not appear before this Commission. Again office of this Commission was directed to write a letter to the Postal Department to inquire whether the notice dated 17.10.2015 has been served upon the appellant or not. Later dated 14.01.2016 from the Postal Department received by this Commission, in which the Postal Department has informed that the complaint of non-delivery of article of registered letter with transaction   No. RV625870168IN on 17.10.2015 of Ajabpur Pin Code 248121 is settled on 14.01.2016 with the following information that “DELIVERED TO ADDRESSEE ON 20.10.2015”.

The Postal Department has also sent record of R Net Tracking, which shows that registry No. RV625870168IN delivered to the addressee on 20.10.2015.

Today despite service of the notice, sent by the office of this Commission which was delivered to the appellant-Sh. Sahid Hussain on 20.10.2015, none has appeared on behalf of the appellant himself or through his counsel. Therefore, this appeal is dismissed for want of prosecution.
