Today, neither the appellant, nor his learned counsel has appeared before the Commission.

Inspite of repeated orders passed by the Commission, the appellant has also not taken steps for service of notice upon respondent.

A perusal of the order-sheet has revealed that there has been no representation on behalf of the appellant after 06.04.2023 and long time has expired since then.

It appears that the appellant is not interested to pursue the appeal.

On the previous date, i.e., 07.05.2024, an order was passed, directing the appellant to appear before this Commission on the next date fixed positively, otherwise an appropriate order as per law, shall be passed in his absence.

Inspite of aforesaid order, the appellant has not put in appearance before this Commission even today.

In the above circumstances, this Commission has no other option except to dismiss the appeal in absence of the appellant as well as for want of prosecution.

Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed in absence of the appellant as well as for want of prosecution.  No order as to costs.

File be consigned to the record room along with copy of this order.

A copy of this order be sent to the concerned District Commission for perusal, information and necessary action.
