ORDER

Perusal of the original file reveals that vide order dated 19.05.2022, the complaint filed by Smt.Deepa Bai wife of Bagga Singh (since deceased) was allowed and  the Ops/JDs were directed to pay a sum of Rs.30,000/- alognwith simple interest @ 8 % per annum besides compensation of Rs.5,000/- on account of mental agony, harassment and litigation expenses.

                   In compliance of the order dated 19.05.2022, the Ops/JDs issued a cheque No.36797 in the name of complainant Deepa Bai (since deceased) for a sum of Rs.43903/- dated 02.06.2022. Thereafter, learned counsel for the DH brought into the notice of this Commission that Deepa Bai, complainant in main case file, has died and further moved an application for giving direction to the JDs/Ops to issue the cheque in the name of her legal heirs.

                   On notice, learned counsel for the JDs/Ops appeared and prayed for placing the cheque on the case file with a request to give direction to the complainant to produce the list of LRs.

                   Today learned counsel for complainant/DH moved an application for giving permission to place the amended title on the case file has been moved. Heard.  In the interest of justice, learned counsel for the DH is allowed to place the amended title on the case file. Amended title alongwith aadhar cards as well as the family ID of the LRs of the deceased Deepa Bai has been placed on file. Sh.Bagga

Singh, husband of deceased Deepa Bai has made a statement that he has no objection if the awarded amount is given to Rajdeep daughter of Deepa Bai and Mangat Singh son of Deepa Bai. Accordingly, the misc. application in hand is hereby disposed off with a direction to the JD to issue two cheques of equal amount of awarded amount in the name of Rajdeep daughter of Deepa Bai and Mangat Singh son of Deepa Bai within a period of 20 days.  Papers be tagged with the main case file and consigned to the record room.
