     The New India Insurance Co. Ltd. Regional Office:312700, NH-5/R2 Badshah Khan    Chowk, Faridabad 121001, through its Regional Manager.

          Complaint under Section 35 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019

 

Order by:-  Smt. Neena Sandhu, President.

 

                   Today, the case was fixed for filing written version by the OP, subject to payment of costs of Rs.200/-, to the complainant.  However, learned counsel for the OP has suffered a statement, which is recorded separately, to the effect that the matter has been settled between the parties whereby OP is ready to pay a sum of Rs.60,000/-, as full and final settlement. Payment will be made within 30 days.  Learned counsel for the complainant has also suffered a statement that he has heard the abovesaid statement given by the learned counsel for the OP and agrees with the same and withdraws the present complaint.     

                   In view of the statement suffered by the learned counsel for the OP and the learned counsel for the complainant, the present complaint is hereby dismissed as withdrawn. It is made clear that parties shall remain bound by their statements. Certified copy of this order passed in Lok Adalat be supplied to the parties concerned, free of costs, as per rules. File be indexed and consigned to record room, after due compliance.
