ORDER
Today the case is fixed for consideration on the settlement/compromise as per statements made by the parties on 07.03.2024.
Learned counsel for the OPs has made a statement that the insurance company has agreed to compromise the said complaint with the complainant as full and final settlement of Rs.70,000/-. The insurance company shall deposit the said amount within 45 days from the date of this order. If the insurance company fails to make the payment within stipulated time then insurance company will have to pay interest.
Learned counsel for the complainant has made a statement that he accept the above statement of learned counsel for the OPs and agree to the settlement on behalf of all legal heirs. The present complaint be decided as per the statement of learned counsel for OPs.

Keeping in view the statement made by learned counsel for OPs and learned counsel for the complainant, the present complaint stands disposed off with the direction that the New India Assurance Company Ltd shall make the payment of Rs.70,000/-(Seventy Thousand only) within 45 days from the date of passing of the order, if the insurance company fails to make the payment of aforesaid amount within 45 days, the insurance company shall be liable to pay interest @9% per annum from the date of filing of this complaint till payment.
Complaint stands disposed off accordingly. File be consigned to the record room after due compliance. It is directed that both the parties shall remain bound by their own statements. Copy of order be supplied to the parties free of cost.
