ORDER

            Vide order dated 9.10.2012 passed in FA/330/2012, the Hon’ble State Commission, U.T. Chandigarh, was pleased to stay the operation of the impugned order subject to deposit of half of the amount, awarded by this Forum, with the concerned District Forum, within 20 days from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order, in addition to the amount already deposited, at the time of filing the appeal. The present application has been filed by OP praying therein that it be permitted to deposit a manager’s cheque bearing No.097397, dated 31.10.2012 for a sum of Rs.10,31,799/- drawn in favour of President, DCDR Forum-II U.T. Chandigarh on HDFC Bank in compliance of the said order passed by the Hon’ble State Commission. Copy of the order dated 9.10.2012 passed by the Hon’ble State Commission, U.T. Chandigarh, has been placed on record.

            In these circumstances, the OP is permitted to deposit the said amount. So, it is ordered that the manager’s cheque of Rs.10,31,799/-, as indicated above, be deposited in the account of District Forum, in the shape of FDR in a Nationalised Bank, having maximum interest, for a period of one year to be renewed from time to time, if needed. The application stands disposed of accordingly.

            Copy of this order be placed on record of the Execution Petition file, if any.

            Certified copy of this order be communicated to the parties free of cost. After compliance file be consigned.
