THIRU. M. MONY, PRESIDENT

 

This complaint has been filed by the complainants against the opposite party under section 12 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 praying to pay a sum of Rs.2,13,227/- + Rs.13,186/- = Rs.2,26,413/- towards medical expenses caused to him, to pay a compensation of Rs.25,000/- with interest at the rate of 12% p.a. for the sum of Rs.2,26,413/- with interest from 15.06.2016 to till date and to pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- towards punitive damages with cost of Rs.6,000/- to the complainant.

Proof affidavit of the complainant is not filed for a long time to prove the allegations raised in the complaint.  The complainant and Counsel called absent for a long time.  Hence, this complaint is dismissed for default.
