ORDER

 

This is a complaint filed under section 12 of Consumer Protection Act praying to direct the opposite parties:

  1. To provide the complainant a proper response for the complaint in time, service, for rectification of all faults and repairs for full fledged functioning of the equipment.
  2. To pay jointly and severally a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- as compensation with interest at 12% from the date of filing of the complaint and cost for deficiency of service, for faulty manufacturing and sales of faulty equipment which amounts to dereliction of duty, unfair trade practice, for mental agony to the complainant.
  3. To pay Rs.20,000/- for the cost of the proceedings.

 

Today, when the complaint was called, both the parties called absent, no representation made.  Copy of the Award dated 06.12.2014 from Lok Adalat received.  In view of the Award passed, this complaint is hereby closed. The order of the Lok Adalat shall form part and parcel of this order.
