ORDER

SRI.P.V.JAYARAJAN                  : PRESIDENT

1. This complaint is filed under section 35 of Consumer Protection Act 2019 and stood over to this date for consideration and this Commission passed the following order.

2.       This is a complaint filed by the complainant against the opposite parties alleging deficiency in service on the part of the opposite parties. After admitting the complaint notice was issued to the opposite parties. The opposite parties 1 & 2 entered appearance and filed written version denying the allegations raised by the complainant. Third opposite party was called absent and set exparte. Complainant filed affidavit and Exts.A1 & A2 series were marked. When the case came up for consideration on 04/03/23, both the parties submitted that there is a chance of settlement and hence the case was referred to mediation to be held on today. After discussion both the parties filed a compromise memo stating that the dispute between them is compromised. As per the terms of compromise, the opposite parties agreed to give cash voucher worth Rs.22,400/- (Rupees twenty two thousand and four hundred only)to the complainant within 30 days from the date of settlement. The compromise memo filed by the parties to the proceedings is accepted and recorded. In view of the compromise arrived at between the parties to the proceedings, we find that this is a fit case to be allowed in terms of compromise.

In the result, the complaint is allowed in terms of compromise. The compromise memo dated 25/03/2023 will form part of this order.

A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements be forwarded to the parties free of charge and thereafter the file be consigned to the record room.

Dictated to the Confidential Assistant, transcribed by her, corrected by me and pronounced in the Open Commission, this the 25th day of March 2023.
