ORDER
SRI.P.V.JAYARAJAN: PRESIDENT
This is a complaint filed under section 12 of Consumer Protection Act 1986 and the matter stood over to this date for consideration.After hearing the matter the commission passed an order as follows:
This is a complaint filed by the complainants against the opposite party alleging deficiency in service on the part of the opposite party. The opposite party entered appearance and filed version denying the allegation raised by the complainants against the opposite party. When the case came up for consideration today, both parties are submitted that the matter is settled in conditions that the opposite party shall issue a DD for Rs.9,000/- in the name of the 1st complainant. The memo to that effect sign by the counsel of both parties filed and the same was accepted and recorded.
In the result the complaint is partly allowed.The opposite party is directed to pay Rs.9,000/- (Rupees Nine Thousand Only) to the 1st complainant within 30 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this order failing which the amount shall carry an interest @ 9% p.a from the date of order till the date of realization/remittance.There will be no order as to cost.
A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements be forwarded to the parties free of charge and thereafter the file be consigned to the record room.
