The record is put up today on the prayer of a Put up petition filed by the Complainant-Sutapa Maji which is identified by the Ld. Advocate on behalf of her.
Both the Complainant –Sutapa Maji and the O.P. file a joint petition stating that a talk of compromise was going on in between the complainants and the O.P. and meanwhile, the OP is agreed to settle the claim of the complainants at an amount of Rs.15,00,000/- and the complainants are willing to withdraw the case after getting the amount of Rs.15,00,000/- from the O.P. as agreed.
Ld. Advocate for the O.P. submitted an account payee cheque being No. 542848 dt. 27.10.2023 for Rs. 15,00,000 (Rupees Fifteen Lakh only) drawn on ICICI Bank in the name of Sutapa De @ Sutapa De Maji towards settlement of her claim with full and final satisfaction and there is no further claim in that regard.
Heard. Considered. Prayer is allowed.
Let the said cheque be kept in safe custody.

Later: The complainant-Sutapa Maji @ Sutapa De Maji also files a receipt whose signature is identified by her Ld. Advocate stating that she wants to withdraw the account payee cheque bearing No. 542848 dt.-27.10.2023 amounting to Rs. 15,00,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Lakh) only drawn on ICICI Bank, Burdwan Branch issued in her name towards settlement of claim with full and final satisfaction and there is no further claim in that regard.
The complainant is at liberty to receive the said cheque with proper identification as per his convenience from this ld. Commission.
Heard. Considered. Prayer is allowed.
Let the cheque be handed over to the complainant with proper identification.
Hence, it is
O r d e r e d
that the present Consumer Complaint being No.69/2023 be and the same is disposed off on being withdrawn with full and final satisfaction of the complainant and there is no further claim in that regard as being compromised in between the parties out of this Commission.
Registrar is directed to do the needful.
Let the case need not be put up on 09.02.2024.
Let a copy of this order be given to the parties on free of cost.
