Payal Kamboj vs. Star Health.

 

Present: Sh.Mustak Ali, Adv. for complainant.

              Sh.Rajiv Kumar Gupta, Adv. for opponent.

 

             There is element of amicable settlement between the parties. Efforts for amicable settlement made and parties arrived at amicable settlement.  Consequently, the opponent agreed to make payment of Rs.17000/- in lump sum to the complainant within the period of 45 days from today. The complainant agreed to it. 

            In view of the statement of the counsel for the opponent as well as complainant, without making any adverse comment on the act and conduct of the opponent, the matter being amicable settled, the present complaint is accepted against the opponent, holding it liable to make payment of Rs.17000/- (Rs.Seventeen Thousand Only) to the complainant within the period of 45 days from today, in default of it, the opponent shall be liable to make payment of simple interest @8% p.a. on the award amount from the date or order, till actual realization.  File be consigned to the records.
