Heard the arguments. The complainant has filed his complaint stating that, the opposite party had issued credit card bearing No.000400661033366886. The account has been closed and the credit card had been surrendered to the opposite party. In spite of that he has received letter from the opposite party that the complainant is due in a sum of Rs.19,278/-. He was shocked to receive the same. Complainant is not due any amount under his card. He has cleared all the dues in respect of his credit card referred above. The complainant submitted that he has received one more letter on 17/12/2008 stating that he is still due a sum of Rs.21,727/- in respect of card No.0004006661038713082. Complainant is totally annoyed by the conduct of the opposite party in issuing letters in respect of credit card which the complainant had not obtained. After notice opposite party appeared through counsel and the opposite party filed a memo stating that the opposite party has issued No Dues Certificate in respect of SBI card No.0004006661038713082. Copy of the NOC is produced herein. NOC itself stated that the said card stands inactive for usage and currently there is no outstanding on the above mentioned SBI credit card. So, in view of issuing NOC by the opposite party there is no question of outstanding due payable by the complainant as per the letters. Therefore, the grievance of the complainant has been met with. The complainant need not worry about the letters sent by the opposite party. Since the opposite party has clearly submitted NOC to the complainant. Therefore, there is no any issue to be settled between the parties. The present matter deserves to be closed as settled. Hence the complaint is closed. MEMBER MEMBER PRESIDENT
