                                                            JUDGMENT

                        The facts of the complaint  in brief is that,  the complainant has purchased  one  Sony  LED TV from O.p. No.1  on  November,2014 and as the picture and sound quality was not good he complained before the O.ps  and the O.ps replaced the TV but  the home theater was not delivered .  The O.ps advertised in Odiya daily news paper that the cost of LED TV is Rs.1,74,900/- with home theater . But the O.ps taken extra amount of Rs.35,100/-. Hence prayed to direct the O.ps to return the extra amount received by them  with compensation of Rs.20,000/-.Hence, this complaint.

                         On being noticed,  the O.ps  neither appeared nor  filed written version as such they were set exparte and  in absence of any written version from the opposite party we proceeded  the matter exparte and  believed  the allegations of the complainant  and  hence, we passed the order and  dispose of the matter with the following directions.

                                                                  ORDER

                        The  opposite parties  are     directed  to refund the extra amount of Rs.35,100/- received from the  complainant  and pay  compensation of Rs.1000/-  for mental agony undergone by the complainant and cost of Rs.500/-  within one month from the date of receipt of this order, failing which the O.Ps are liable to pay  interest  @  12%  p.a. on the above awarded amount till  the date of payment.

                        Pronounced in open forum today on this 6^th  day of April,2016 under the seal and signature of this forum.

                         A copy of this order be forwarded to the parties    free of charge as per the statutory requirement.
