This complaint has been filed by the complainant u/s 35 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 alleging deficiency in service against the opposite parties with regard to closure of insurance amount along with a prayer to direct the opposite parties to pay a sum of Rs.20,00,000/- towards compensation for the mental agony caused to the complainant, to refund the delay payment charges a sum of Rs.54,106, pre-closure charges of Rs.30,335/-, legal expenses Rs.4916/-, overdue interest Rs.54,493/- along with 12% interest and to refund the entire security cheque, security documents, insurance copy and to return the insurance amount of Rs.15,000/- paid by the complainant.

Advance hearing petition allowed.  Complainant made endorsement that as he had received payment complaint may be dismissed as withdrawn. Consumer Complaint dismissed. No costs.

This order was pronounced by us in the open Commission on this 08^th day of April 2024.
