ORDER

COMMON ORDER IN COMPLAINT NOs. 1566 to 1569 OF 2008 These 4 complaints have been filed by one and the same complainant against LIC. The complainants have been filed on 24/07/2008 and date of hearing was given on 23/07/2008. On that date complainant was not present. The matters are adjourned o 31/07/2008. Again on 31/07/2008 also complainant was not present to submit his case. The matters are adjourned to 07/08/2008. On 07/08/2008 also the complainant was not present and matters are adjourned to 22/08/2008. Today also the complainant is not present and nobody on behalf of him is present to represent him. As per sec.12 (iii) an opportunity are being heard shall be given to the complainant before admitting or rejecting the complaints. The admissibility of the complaints shall be ordinarily be decided within 21 days from the date on which the complaint was received. But all these complaints have been kept for more than 21 days. The complainant has not turned up even though sufficient opportunity was given to him to submit his case. Even on perusal of the complaints the complainant has not pleaded any facts. He has not pleaded any deficiency of service on the part of the LIC. Without explaining any facts and deficiency of service the complaints may not be maintainable in law. The complainant has not properly explained the facts. He has simply asked the relief without their being any pleading of deficiency in service. Therefore, the complaints are not maintainable. All the 4 complaints are deserves to be dismissed and same are dismissed. However, this dismissal will not come in the way of complainant filing fresh complaint against the LIC explaining all the facts and deficiency in service. Order accordingly, MEMBER MEMBER PRESIDENT
