FINAL ORDER
Smt. Pranati Ali – Presiding Member.
The instant complaint has been filed by the complainant u/s 12 of C. P. Act, 1986 praying for direction upon the OP to transfer her name in place of her deceased husband’s name as a consumer of OP .
The complainant’s case, in brief, is that the complainant applied to the OP to register her name instead of her deceased husband as a consumer of OP. Afterwards, 4/5 times OP informed the complainant to meet their office and the complainant met the OP, though the OP did not finalized the demand. So, the complainant came to his Forum for redress.
The OP also appeared in this case by filing written version where he disclosed that he was agreed to fulfill the demand of the complainant. So he has already prepared all papers regarding the issue. The OP submitted one letter of withdrawal of allegations from the OP by the complainant. As per letter, the complainant got everything which she wants from the OP. They also submitted that henceforth they will have no claim against each other.
Considering the submissions of both the parties, we are of the view that the case be disposed of being settled.
Hence,
Ordered
