Final Order / Judgement

The Ld. Advocate for the complainant is present.

Matter is taken  up for admission hearing.

Ld. Advocate for the complainant submits that on 28/12/2022 at 18.41 hrs the complainant had tried to withdraw a sum of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) only from his savings account through YONO account transaction at Karanjalibazar Kulpi ATM. As he tried to withdraw the amount it was displayed in ATM that Rs.20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) only had been withdrawn but actually no cash was discharged from ATM. After two minutes it was shown that the amount of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) only had been reversed and credited to the account of the complainant and a receipt was issued at 18.45 through ATM on the same date. But till date despite continuous contact with the Branch Manager of the SBI Kakdwip Branch with which he maintains the account, the amount has not been credited to his account which is evident in the statement of account.

 Being aggrieved thereby the instant consumer complaint has been filed with certain prayer.

We gone through the complaint application and all the documents annexed thereto.

On perusal of the statement of account annexed by the complainant at page 14, we find that an amount of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) only was withdrawn on 28/12/2022 through ATM and on the same date the same was reversed and credited to the account of the complainant. Thereafter a cash of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) only has been withdrawn from the bank.

It is not the case of the complainant that on 28/12/2022 he has not withdrawn cash from the bank for sum of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) only as reflected in the statement of account.

Moreover, the statement of account relied and submitted by the complainant himself, nullifies his allegation made in the complainant application.

We do not fine any deficiency in service caused by the opposite parties as alleged.

As such, the consumer complaint filed by the complainant is devoid of any merit and liable to be rejected.

Hence, it is

that the complaint case be and the same is dismissed without cost.
