JUDGMENT

JUSTICE SHRI.K.R.UDAYABHANU : PRESIDENT

Appellant is the complainant in OP.453/99 in the file of the CDRF, Thiruvananthapuram who had initiated proceedings for the alleged interest due on the excess amounts paid by him towards his LIC policies after the date of maturity. He has admitted that the amount covered by the policy was paid with interest at 9% for belated   payment. The excess amount remitted by him was repaid with nominal interest.  Unaware of the fact that the maturity period is over he had made the remittances. We find that the Forum has rightly declined to entertain the complaint of the appellant. We find that there is no deficiency in service. The amount were not solicited by the LIC. We find no reason to interfere in the order of the Forum.   The appeal is dismissed.
