AWARD

1.   Vide his separate statement recorded on 05.02.2024, Sh.Ajmer Singh Sandhu, Liaison Manager on behalf of OPs has stated that the matter has been settled between the parties and as per settlement, after deduction of 40% of the total paid amount, the balance 60% amount shall be adjusted in future multiple events/functions within three months from 05.02.2024. It has been further stated by Sh.Ajmer Singh Sandhu, Liaison Manager on behalf of OPs that in case the events/functions are not organized within three months, the balance 60% amount shall also be forfeited. Vide his separate statement recorded on 05.02.2024, Sh.Gaurav Bhardwaj, Counsel for Complainant has admitted the aforesaid statement of Liaison Manager of OPs and prayed that the complaint be disposed of in terms of aforesaid settlement in Upbhokta Lok Adalat.

2.   In view of the statements made by Sh.Ajmer Singh Sandhu, Liaison Manager on behalf of OPs & Sh.Gaurav Bhardwaj, Counsel for Complainant and in terms of the settlement, the complaint stands disposed of by passing the following order:-

     “The OPs, after deduction of 40% of the total paid   amount, shall adjust the balance 60% amount in future    multiple events/functions of complainant within three     months from 05.02.2024 and in case the events/functions   are not organized within three months, the balance 60%      amount shall also be forfeited”

3.   The award is accordingly passed.

4.   Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned.
