               The complainant filed this case with the allegation against the o.p. that he joined  in Corporation of Calcutta worked as Labour Welfare Officer on 15.11.1978 and he was transferred to personal department at the Head Office of Calcutta Corporation. The complainant worked for three years six months and submitted resignation. During the period of his employment there the complainant contributed sum of Rs.3,328/- towards provident fund.  The complainant is entitled to get the interest @ 8.25%. The complainant tried his best to transfer the said amount through his subsequent employer but no  action was taken by the o.p.

                On perusal of the record we find that the complainant resigned from the service of the o.p. from the month of June,1982 and he retired from service in the month of April, 2012. The complainant after the lapse of statutory period of two years filed this case. Therefore we hold that the case is hopelessly barred by limitation. Accordingly the case is dismissed in limini.
