            The petitioner’s case is as follows. The petitioner was a subscriber of a pooval kuri conducted by the respondent as per statement No.3. The kuri had 40 instalments. The petitioner had paid 37 instalments and on the 37th draw he has got the prize. But the respondent did not intimate the petitioner about the draw. Only at the time of payment of the 38th instalment he came to know that he had prized in the 37th instalment. Then he demanded the prized amount. The respondent told that they will make payment on 16.9.06. But the respondent did not do so. Hence the complaint.
 
            2. The respondent is called absent and set exparte.
 
            3. In order to prove the case of the petitioner, he has filed affidavit and produced one document, which is marked as Ext. P1.
 
            4. According to the complainant, he is entitled to get the entire kuri amount of Rs.60,000/-.
 
            5. There is no counter evidence to the evidence of the petitioner.
 
            6. In the result, the complaint is allowed and the respondent is directed to pay the entire kuri amount of Rs.60,000/- (Rupees sixty thousand only) with interest at the rate of 12% per annum from 6.5.06 and 6% interest from today till realisation. He is also entitled for Rs.1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) as cost. Comply the order within one month.
