ORDER

Order dt.31/07/1992 The case of the complainant is that he applied for a House to KHB at Mangalore for economically weaker Section (EWS) group for which he paid Rs.1000/- as registration fees. He heard nothing from OP nor the amount deposited is refunded. Hence, he prays for the refund of amount. The respondent says in a letter sent to Forum that no house is alloted to complainant by the head office. If we wish to claim refund he may claim it by filling up a refund bill. The both parties absent today. It is undisputed that complainant has credited Rs.1000/- to the account of Executive Engineer, Mangalore Division, in a challan dt.13/05/1991 which is produced in the case. This is a registration fees. It is also admitted that so far no house is allotted to complainant by respondent. Hence, it can be ordered that the complainant is entitled to claim Rs.1000/- registration fees. The claim of complainant is allowed. He shall be given Rs.1000/- plus interest on the same from 13/05/1991 at 15% p.a. plus cost of Rs.50/-. sd/- G.Vamdev President sd/- B.Yashoda Muthanna Member
