CONSUMER COMPLAINT NO.  503 OF  2015

Smt. Naresh Kumar Bamal Vs The ICICI Prudential Life Ins. company

PRESENT:

                   Sh. Devinder Kumar, counsel for the complainants.

                   Sh. Gaurav Bhardwaj, counsel for the OP.

ORDER

                    Sh. Gaurav Bhardwaj, counsel for the OP has made the following statement, recorded separately: -

                   “On instructions of my client, the OP offers to pay a sum of Rs.2,05,000/-to the complainants in full & final settlement of the dispute towards this complaint towads policy No.00410039 in the name of Naresh Kumari Bamal and Policy No.00405629 in the name of Nitesh Bamal. The policies mentioned above shall be terminated w.e.f.18.02.2016 and the complainants will not raise any claim or dispute with regard to the above said policy. This amount will be paid to the complainant within 30 days from today”. 

                   Sh. Devinder Kumar, counsel for the complainants has made the following statement, recorded separately: -

                   “I accept the offer of OP. I withdraw this complaint being fully satisfied after the receipt of the above said payment”.  

                   In view of the said statements, it is ordered that the OP shall pay a sum of Rs.205000/- to the complainants within 30 days from today i.e. 18.02.2016, failing which the OP shall pay the same amount alongwith interest @18% p.a. from the date of this order till the payment is made. Hence, the complaint is disposed of accordingly.

                    Certified copy of this order be communicated to the parties free of cost. After compliance file be consigned.
