                       Brief fact of the case of the complainant is that he gave his house on rent basis to Opposite Parties and prayed this Forum to direct the O.Ps to vacate the house of the complainant immediately, to pay the house rent @Rs.2000/- per month from the month of August 2013 to till date, to pay the electric consumption arrear dues till date etc.

            2. Prima facie, the facts as stated in the complaint petition do not raise any consumer disputes. The complainant being a tenant under the O.Ps land lord, the dispute raised by him does not come within the scope of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986. This Forum by relying upon a citation passed by the National Commission, New Delhi in Smt. Laxmi Singhania versus Smt. Rani Devi Lohia & Another 1992(1) CPR  109 that  a complaint relating to dispute between landlord and tenant does not come within the purview of the Consumer Protection Act.  In the light of the above legal position, we are of the opinion the complaint petition is not entertainable by this Redressal Forum. If so advised, the complainant may have his remedy in the Civil Court having jurisdiction. Hence the complaint petition is not admitted and is dismissed in limine.
