Complaint filed challenging the excess telephone bill issued by the opposite party.
Complaint posted for hearing on admission. Complainant present. Heard.
As per the dictum laid down in General Manager Telecom Vs M. Krishnan & Another SCC 481 2009(8), by virtue of 7B of Telegraph Act, all disputes between telegraph authorities and consumer should be dealt with by arbitration. In the light of the above decision, we find that complaint is not maintainable before the Forum.
In the result, without going in to the merits of the case, we dismiss the complaint. Complainant directed to approach appropriate authority for relief.
