Today is fixed for further hearing on the point of admission. But complainant is absent on calls and no steps taken on their behalf. It appears from the complaint petition that the complainant prays for direction upon the General Manager, Branch Manager and Policy Serving Branch Manager of Reliance General Insurance Company Ltd.  to disburse an amount of Rs. 3,76,000/- in favour of the complainant, to pay a compensation amounting to Rs. 10,00,000/- and litigation cost amounting to Rs. 1,00,000/-. It appears from the case record that the address of the op nos. 1 and 2 are in Mumbai and the address of the op no. 3 is at Himalaya House 8^th Floor, 38B J.L. Neheru Road, Kolkata. So, the address of the op is beyond the jurisdiction of C.D.R.F., Hooghly. So, the complaint petition is not maintainable u/s 11 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986. The above mentioned case filed on 8.8.2019 but after elapsing 4 months the complainants failed to advance hearing on the point of admission after elapsing the 3 dates. So, this Forum is in the opinion that the complainant willfully avoiding the course of proceeding and trying to waste the valuable times of this Forum. As such the complaint petition is deserved to be dismissed for non prosecution.

Hence ordered that the complaint petition be and the same is dismissedfor non prosecution.
