                                        J u d g e m e n t.

        The  present disputes arises out of the complaint petition filed by the above named complainant alleging deficiency in service  against  afore mentioned O.Ps for  non  revision of    excess  electricity  bill.

           

            On being noticed the O.Ps appeared and  filed reply. The O.Ps submitted that  the complainant’s  Meter has been defective up  to July, 2014 subsequently the meter has been replaced on Dt. 10.12.2015 and the average monthly  consumption  recorded 10,650  units per month   comes to  Rs.1,24,475/- .   Subsequently the aforesaid complainant  has raised a dispute as per case under reference and come forward for amicable settlement with  the screening committee of the Division and the above committee has decided to revise the bill on average consumption of one year  i.e. 8,500 units per month and the energy charges comes to  Rs.75,455/-.  The O.Ps further submitted that the complainant  has also  paid Rs. 75,000/- vide  money receipt No. 17891/ 578079 Dt. 31.3.2017.   The O.Ps prayed the forum to close the case  accordingly.

           

            The learned counsel for the  complainant  is present before the forum and has submitted   a memo to withdraw the case since  as per the settlement with the  O.Ps  the amount of Rs.75,000/- fixed by the  Deptt.  has been deposited  with them  on Dt.31.3.2017 vide  money receipt  No. 17891/ 578079 Dt. 31.3.2017  and he has no more claim against the O.Ps in connection with the aforesaid case.

                Heard  from the  parties.  We perused the memo and the memo is allowed.

                Accordingly the case is closed  as not pressed by the  complainant. Parties are left  to bear their own cost.
