The Complainant being an Advocate represents the case in personal capacity.
O.P. files hazira through Advoate.
The case is fixed for argument.
After hearing argument from both sides the Commission proceeds to dispose of the case as hereunder: -
The Complainant’s case is that he has an electric dispute with the O.P. with regard to the Bill dated: 04/04/2018 which should be Rs.116/- in place of Rs.375/- as raised by the O.P. due to defective meter. The Complainant has ventilated his grievances to the O.P. Authority on several occasions regarding the disputed bill. Though the defective meter was replaced but the disputed bill was not rectified. Hence this case.
The O.P. contested the case by filing a written version but contending inter alia that the correct bill has already been sent to the Complainant on 10/06/2017 but the same was not accepted by the Complainant and the defective meter has been changed on 09/04/2019 and henceforth regular bill is being sent to the Complainant according to the meter reading but the Complainant refused that bill and did not allow the O.P. men for physical meter reading.

-: Decision with reasons: -
Having regard to the facts of the case, contention, submission and documents on both sides the Commission finds that dispute has already been resolved by the O.P. Authority but the Complainant is creating problem to the O.P. Authority to take actual meter reading. The Complainant should co-operate with the O.P. Authority for regular meter reading otherwise the dispute will revive further.
With this observation the case is disposed of by directing the O.P. Authority to sent correct bill on regular basis to the Complainant on the basis of actual meter reading with the active co-operation of the Complainant to get access to the meter reading without disturbance. The Complainant must pay the electric bills as and when received in due time.
Hence it is ordered……..
That the case be and the same is disposed of on contest but without cost.
Both parties be supplied copy of this Judgement free of cost.
