The above complaint is filed on 03.04.2013. Alleging that complainant had joined to a spoken English Course with opposite parties paying Rs.3000/- as course fee. Thereafter opposite parties closed the institution after one months Coaching. Hence he could not complete the course due to the illegal trade practice adopted by the opposite parties.
Notice issued to both parties. Opposite party No.1 notice was served against opposite party No.2 Paper publication was produced and opposite parties set exparte. Complainant filed chief affidavit and he examined as PW1, Exts.A1 marked. Thus he proved his case. In the result petition is partly allowed.
Hence this Forum directs the opposite parties to pay Rs.3000/-(Rupees three thousand only) towards course fee and Rs.1500/-(Rupees one thousand five hundred only) towards cost and compensation which will meets the ends of justice. The opposite parties are jointly and severally liable to pay the amount to the complainant. Comply the order within one month of receiving the copy of the order.
