In the Lok Adalat held in the main room of this Commission today i.e. on 11.12.2021 at 11.30 am, which is attended by the complainant’s Advocate and the representative of the Ops the case record is placed.

The Ld. Advocate Ops and the complainant in person are given opportunity of being heard. On perusal of the record it appears that a sum of Rs. 07,10,948/- remains unpaid and the complainant is entitled to get back the said amount from the Ops. It may be pointed out that the aforesaid amount was advanced by the complainant for purchasing a flat from the Op but the complainant has not got any flat. The complainant and the Ld. Advocate Ops  and the representative of the Ops arrive at a settlement that the dispute may come to an end if an order directing the Ops for payment of the aforesaid amount with interest @7% p.a. with effect from 23.05.2017 is passed. Accordingly, direction for payment of the aforesaid amount with interest is issued by this Lok Adalat.

Hence it is ordered that the case be and the same is settled before this Lok Adalat. The Ops will pay Rs. 07,10,948/- with interest @ 7% p.a. with effect from 23.05.2017 to the complainant in Demand Draft within 40 days hence, failing which the complainant will be at liberty to put the decree into execution.

Let plain copy be given to the parties free of cost, as per CPR.
