O R D E R

Sri.K.Vijayakumaran, President.

This is a complaint filed by the wife and children of one K.A.Nelson who died while working as an Excise Guard claiming his Group Insurance amount.

Both the opposite parties are having their office at Thiruvananthapuram. The said Nelson died while he was working at Pathanamthitta. Both the above places are beyond the territorial jurisdiction of this Forum. There is absolutely no averment in the complaint that any part of cause of action has arisen within the territorial jurisdiction of this Forum. The mere residence of the complainants within the territorial jurisdiction of this Forum will not confer jurisdiction on this Forum. Hence the complaint is returned to the complainant for presentation before the proper Forum within the one month from today.
