ORDER

28/07/2008 Opposite party deposited Rs.2,094/- towards the interest payable to the complainant. In view of the deposit of the interest amount as per the calculation the matter is settled and the complainant has got the relief. Complainant has claimed compensation for mental torture and agony and for deficiency in service. On the facts and circumstances of the case, it is not a case to grant compensation as claimed by the complainant. However, the complainant is entitled for costs of the present proceedings. Therefore, we feel it is just, fair and reasonable to direct the opposite party to pay Rs. 500/- as costs of the present proceedings to the complainant apart from the amount deposited today. The cost shall be paid by the opposite party within 15 days from today. The complainant is entitled to receive the deposit amount by filing memo. In the result, I proceed to pass the following:- ORDER The complaint is allowed in view of settlement. MEMBER MEMBER PRESIDENT
