CONSUMER COMPLAINT NO. 893  OF  2021

ORDER

          At this stage, the parties have settled the matter. Vide his separate statement, counsel for OPs has stated that the matter has been settled between the parties with the term that OPs shall pay lump sum amount of Rs.15,000/- to the complainant within a period of one month from today failing which the OPs shall be liable to pay the aforesaid amount alongwith interest @ 9% p.a. from the date of filing of present consumer complaint. Vide his separate statement, the authorized representative of complainant has admitted the statement of counsel for OPs and prayed that the complaint be disposed of in terms of aforesaid settlement.

          In view of the statement of the parties and in terms of the settlement, the complaint stands disposed of by passing the following order:-

          (i)      The OPs are directed to pay lump sum amount of   Rs.15,000/- to        the complainant within a period of one month from today.

          (ii)      In case the aforesaid amount is not paid by the OPs within the   stipulated period, the OPs shall be liable to pay the aforesaid amount      alongwith interest @ 9% p.a. from the date of filing of present    consumer complaint i.e. 02.12.2021.

          The complaint is disposed of accordingly.

          Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned.
