           The Complainant has filed the present complaint against the Opposite Parties with allegation that the Opposite Parties has over charged for the purchased of air ticket for going to Patna from Delhi on 06.02.2022. This ticket was purchased by him on 05.02.22. The Complainant has purchased the said ticket for Rs. 12,349/-. The case of the Complainant is that one other passenger Mohd. Samsad Aalam has purchased the ticket for the same flight on the same day for Rs. 6,779/-. The case of the Complainant is that the airline has charged more money for the same ticket.

We have already heard the Complainant and have perused the file. The case of the Complainant is that he had purchased the air ticket for Rs. 12,349/- whereas other passenger had purchased the air ticket for the same flight  for Rs. 6,779/-. It is alleged by the Complainant that the airline has charged more money from him for the same ticket. Admittedly, the Complainant had purchased the air ticket for Rs. 12,349/- and he was issue receipt / invoice for the same amount. It is not the case of the Complainant the more money was charged from him and he was given invoice for lesser amount. The Complainant has purchased the said air ticket on 05.02.22 while the other passenger Mohd. Samsad Aalam has purchased the air ticket on 06.02.22 i.e. the date of the flight / journey. It is well known fact that on the date of flight / journey in case some seats are vacant then in order to fill up the vacant seats the airline sales the ticket at lesser price. This might

 be the reason that Mohd. Samsad Aalam was given air ticket at a lesser price. There might be some other reason for example Mohd. Samsad Aalam is entitled for some concession under some scheme etc. The Complainant has not alleged that he was charged more than maximum price of air ticket. In our consider opinion the case of the Complainant is not covered under the Consumer protection Act, 2019 and the same is dismissed accordingly.

Copy of this order be given to Complainant free of cost.
