Seen the joint petition No.158 filed by the complainant and the O.P./State Bank of India, Chief Manager, Tinsukia stating inter alia that the O.P. agreed to sanction education loan in the joint name of son of the complainant Sri Utsav Dihingia, for his higher studies in U.K., which is going to start from 20.09.2021 as main borrower and the complainant as co-borrower, as per prevailing terms and conditions on the basis of mortgage/collateral security of the property documents, which the complainant deposited with the O.P. at the time of availing housing loan.

The Commission has heard the parties and perused the documents.

The complaint is filed by the complainant as because the O.P./bank could not return the original documents, which were given at the time of availing housing loan. Now, both sides come to an amicable settlement. Hence, this Commission does not find any ground to continue with this case. Accordingly, the joint compromise petition is allowed. The case is disposed of on compromise.
