O R D E R
The complainant filed the consumer complaint claiming compensation from the opposite parties, consequent on the death of the son of the complainant , by name, Thambusamy, on 29.03.2012, in a road accident, on the basis of an Insurance Policy No. 015154967400, issued by the Opposite Parties insuring the two wheeler bearing Regn. No. PY-01-BE-6438 for the period from 28.10.2011 to 27.10.2012. The consumer complaint filed by the appellant was dismissed by the District Forum, Puducherry, by order dated 27.12.2016 and this appeal is directed against the said order.
To-day, a joint memo of compromise has been filed on behalf of appellant and the respondent. In and by which, the respondent has to pay a sum of Rs.50,000/- each of the appellant as well as one Vasantha, the mother of the deceased. The joint memo of compromise filed by the parties is recorded and the respondent shall pay the amount shown in the joint compromise memo to both the parties referred therein within four weeks from to-day. The appeal , therefore, stands closed.
