O R D E R

By Sri. Vinay Menon V., President

1. Parties to the dispute settled the matter out of court and filed a joint application during the Settlement conducted by this Commission on 30/12/2022.
2. The amount for which settlement is arrived at is Rs. 15,00,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Lakh Only) payable by the Opposite Parties to the Complainants.
3. Opposite party Insurance Company shall divide this amount equally among the complainants and pay the amounts to 1^st complainant and the 4^th complainant who are majors by way of cheque/DD drawn favouring the said complainants.
4. Share of the 2^nd and 3^rd opposite parties shall be deposited separately as Fixed Deposits in a Nationalized Bank until the said minor complainants attain majority.
5. The 1^st complainant shall be entitled to receive interests arising out of the Fixed deposits so made in the name of the minor complainants.
6. The joint statement dated 30/12/2022 shall form part of this Order.                         Pronounced in open court on this the 6^th   day of  January, 2023.
