The insured sum in the mediclaim policy is Rs.35,000/- though the complainant has incurred more than that and want this Forum to allow him to reimburse the medical expenses i.e., Rs.65,000/- is not possible and therefore, we have to restrict the amount to only Rs.35,000/- i.e, to insured amount and therefore, it is ordered that the opposite party shall make payment towards the medical expenses of Rs.35,000/- with 9% interest p.a. from the date of repudiation of the claim till its realisation to the complainant and it si further ordered that the opposite party is liable to pay Rs.500/- as the cost of this proceedings to the complainant with in three months from the date of receipt of this order.<br /> <br /> sd/-<br /> M.R.Devappa,<br /> President,<br /> <br /> sd/-<br /> K.S.Prasad,<br /> Member,<br /> <br /> sd/-<br /> A.S.Hemalatha,<br /> Member.
