It is revealed from the materials on record, the complainant is purely engaged in business related transaction by nature, because the complainant, M/s Ma Minati Bastralay is a trader of Sharee, Dhoti, Readymade garments and similar goods and for which Insurance Policy was purchased by the Proprietor Mr. Manoranjan Jana to cover the risk factor for fire and allied perils, Burglary as categorically mentioned in the Policy. Moreover, no where in the complaint it is mentioned that the Proprietor of M/s Ma Minati Bastralay, i.e. Mr. Manoranjan Jana running this business for his “LIVELIHOOD”. Over and above the compalint is filed in this year 2024 whereas the incident occurred on 27.07.2020. The reason for such delay is explained in the Delay Condonation Petition filed U/s 69 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 with supporting Medical Reports, the most of which issued in the year 2024 and few in the year 2021 and 2022 respectively. But from such reports no serious illness were found rather sneezing, BP, sugar etc.

So the petition for Condonation of Delay U/s 69 is hereby rejected alongwith this complaint petition.
