This is a complaint filed by the complainant under Section 12 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 praying to direct the opposite parties to pay the minor complainant the Accident Benefit amount of his father which is Rs.1,30,000/- and also pay a compensation of Rs.1,00,000/- with accrued interest at 12% per annum for both amounts from the date of complaint for the mental hardship, ordeal and depression suffered by the minor complainant and for costs.

Today this complaint was called.Both the parties and Counsel for complainant present.Counsel for complainant filed memo stating that the opposite parties had paid the LIC Death Benefit amount of Rs.1,30,000/- to the complainant and the claim amount is satisfied.No more amount is due to the complainant and reported that the dispute of the complainant is settled out of court and prayed for dismiss the complaint without cost as settled out of court and not pressed the complaint.In view of the endorsement, this complaint is hereby dismissed as not pressed.No cost.
