This is a complaint made the petitioner above against OPs with a prayer for payment of Rs. 28,800,00/- with appropriate interest thereon from 09.01.2017 till the date of realization, compensation of Rs. 20,000/- and litigation cost of Rs. 10,000/-and other relierfs.
In short, case of the Complainant is that he invested a sum of Rs. 300,00 per month as recurring deposit for 60 months to the OP no.2 through the OP no.1 on 09.01.12 vide certificate issued oin 03.03.12. the date of maturity of said investment was 09.01.2017 and the maturity value of said RD was Rs. 28,800/-. The complaint said amount after the date of maturity but besides false promise to pay off shortly the OPs did not pay the amount .
In spite of service of summons upon the OPs they did not appear to contest the case. Hence, the case is heard ex parte.
Point to be considered in this case is whether the case is maintainable and whether the Complainant is entitled to the relief(s) sought for by her.

We have carefully perused the affidavit of the complainant and all the documents filed by the complainant. It appears from the documents filed by the complainants. On a careful
Scrutiny of the documents filed by the complainant it appears that he has proved his case ex parte and thus he is entitled to get the reliefs as prayed for.
Hence, it is
O R D E R E D
That CC/352 of 2017 be and the same is allowed ex parte against the OPs .
The OP is directed to pay the matured amount of Rs. 28,800/-with 10% interest on all the awarded amount from the date of maturity to the complainant within one month from the date of this order.
OPs are further directed to pay compensation of Rs.1000/- and Rs. 500/- as litigation cost to the complainants within one month from the date of this order, failing which OP will be liable to pay Rs.100/- daily as punitive charges which will be payable to the Consumer Welfare Fund.
Let the copies of the judgement be supplied to all the parties free of cost.
