Record is placed before the Lok Adalat as per order dated 14.12.2023 for settlement of the matter.

Both the parties are present.  It is submitted by the Ld. Advocate for the OPs that an A/c payee cheque bearing No. 145027 dated 30.11.2023 for Rs.15,500/- issued in favour of the complainant has been handed over by the OP Insurance Co. to the complainant on 14.12.2023 as per settlement vide order dated 07.11.2023. The complainant has acknowledged the payment aforesaid.  It is also submitted by the complainant that the matter has been settled. 

A petition to the above effect has also been filed by the OPs on 14.12.2023 with the prayer for disposal of the instant Consumer Complaint.  Seen the endorsement of the complainant “received the amount of Rs.15,500/- as full and settlement of the case” made at the left hand margin of the petition filed by the OPs on 14.12.2023. Heard both the sides. Considered the submission of both the sides and petition is filed by the OPs on 14.12.2023.

Hence, the CDF Unit-II, CC No. 425/2021 is settled and disposed of finally through the Lok Adalat.

Let a copy of this order be supplied to both the parties free of cost with proper endorsement.
