This complaint has been filed before DCDRC, Chennai (North) as CC.No.119/2019 and transferred to this commission by the order of the Hon’ble State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Chennai and taken on file as CC.No.121/2022.
The complaint was filed by the complainant under section 12 of the Consumer Protection Act 1986 alleging deficiency in service against the opposite parties in refusing the claim of the complainant along with a prayer to direct the opposite parties to pay the insurance claim of Rs.83,804/- with interest and to pay a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- towards compensation for the mental agony and distress suffered by the complainant along with cost of the proceedings.
Memo of compromise filed and recorded. Consumer Complaint is dismissed as settled out of court. No cost.
