Order on Admission of the complaint

Complainant filed this complaint against the OPS stating that he has paid a sum of Rs 1,36,000 towards the advanced amount for taking club by vocation membership further submits that complainant is not aware of the terms and conditions of the club and further submits that OP-2 sent an agreement to the complainant  and submits that while going through the agreement,  the condition in the agreement are not in a consumer favour . It only speaks the profit of the club not for the customer.

            Further complainant submits that he had not taken the club membership and vocation membership from the OPS. Hence he prayed to order for refund the advance amount and claim a Rs.3,00,000/- towards compensation and other reliefs. Heard on admission while scanning the documents on record and complainant , it seems that complainant is advocate and notary practicing at Gadag district. Moreover the agreement produced by the complainant is very much clear that the complainant was taken a membership of club and vocation and moreover complainant also duly signed on it. It is very much clear that the consumer fora establish for to look after the genuine consumer to give relief. Here complainant was invest his amount for his profit. As such compliant is not fall under Consumer Protect Act . Hence complaint is dismissed.
