ORDER BY HON’BLE PRESIDENT- MR. P.K. PADHI:

                                                                                         JUDGMENT

            Complainant has filed consumer complaint seeking direction for GPF dues with interest. GPF is applicable for regular Govt. employees as such GPF is not applicable to complainant who was a NMR.

            Mr. Ranjan Ku. Panda, Inspector, EPFO, Bhubaneswar appeared before this Commission and submitted that complainant has already received Rs.8,92,663/- towards PF and getting pension of Rs.2,603/- on attainment of superannuation w.e.f. 12.7.2018 vide PPO No.OR/BAN/23800. The establishment/organization of complainant covered under the scope and ambit of EPFO Act, 1952 w.e.f. 01.4.1996 and all benefits has been settled accordingly. Accordingly there is no deficiency in service on the part of EPFO. Hence the consumer complaint has no merit.

            However liberty is given to complainant to raise his grievance if any before appropriate authority under EPFO with regard to his contribution in respect of EPFO, we hope and trust that EPFO authorities shall be judicious to consider the grievance of complainant and pass appropriate order in accordance with law. With the aforesaid observation and direction the consumer complaint is disposed of. No cost.
